Judy Armstrong- Patient Voice Advocates Healthcare Advocacy

About Judy

I have worked in healthcare for over 14 years, but my path into this field began in 2008 when I had to advocate for my daughter to receive out-of-network surgical care. It required learning how to navigate insurance denials, appeals, and the logistical barriers most people do not see coming until they are in the middle of them. Later, I supported my father through a long period of declining health, managing his care across multiple providers and systems. I became Board Certified Patient Advocate so I could support others facing similar challenges.

Anyone caring for themselves or a loved one knows the challenges of finding the right doctor, addressing complicated insurance claims, knowing which questions to ask, and securing cost-effective medications. I am committed to making sure that my clients feel heard, are treated with compassion, and are guided in making the best decisions for themselves and their loved ones. Clients describe me as an empathetic, resourceful, and highly organized companion, but most importantly, as someone who truly listens.  Beyond healthcare advocacy, I enjoy travel, reading, exercise, and, above all, spending quality time with family and close friends.
